Narural Building Workshops

This immersive three day natural building workshop will give you skills and the confidence to work with natural materials on a natural home or building. I will show you how to prepare the site, materials, dig foundations, build stone foundations, mix and apply materials, and finish plasters as well. We usually build something small, like an oven, or bench to show you the entire process in a short, week-end long workshop.

Bring your drums or other instruments, tents, sleeping bags, and cloths you won’t mind burning at the end of the workshop.

Food, water, and composting toilets will be available on site, however the sites do NOT have water for showers, so I highly recommend bringing some water for sanitation purposes, and a flexible mentality. We will be pretty remote at both completely undeveloped sites, so pack for your personal needs accordingly.
